不知道该发到哪，恩山论坛环境比较宽松，也比较容易搜索到，就发在这里吧，方便同型号笔记本朋友通过搜索引擎搜到。

2019-11-24第二次更新：今年4月份的时候，联想国外论坛有网友发了联想售后提供的修复方案，目前已经可以不拆机升级到最新的6KCN44WW版本了。文件和说明我已打包上传到百度盘“720s R版旧版BIOS升级_workaround.zip”。
已经有群友通过 30降级 -> 27 -> 29T01 -> 38 -> 44 成功。

PS：降级注意：大于30的版本不要降级到30版本或更低；大于等于36的版本无法降级，否则可能会变砖！！！

2018-7-10第一次更新：联想发布了 6KCN30WW 版本BIOS。6KCN2xWW版本可以直接升级到 6KCN30WW ，再往上升级37或38依然报错。经群友测试，2X版本升级为 6KCN30WW 版本后显存大小亦提升为1G，内存频率由2133提升为2400，TDP和温度墙也有较大提高。根据联想官方更新日志里 Update code base to fully support RS3 AMD driver version 23.20.822.256 or later  ，更新相应版本显卡驱动应该也可以解决部分用户蓝屏的问题（具体待测）

操作有风险，刷BIOS需谨慎，可能会失去官方保修，导致设备彻底报废。出现问题本人概不负责！

本文适用于联想ideapad720s-13arr(r5-2500u和r7-2700U)出厂为6KCN2*WW(6KCN28WW，6KCN29WW，6KCN26WW)版本BIOS无法升级为6KCN3*WW BIOS的同学。
为什么要刷新版bios？因为刷6KCN38WW BIOS后内存频率由2133提升为2400，显存大小提升为1G，TDP由12W提至14W，温度墙由60度提至80度，部分用户看视频等情境下出现的蓝屏死机花瓶等问题也解决了……然而老版本BIOS却无法升级！！！懒得发图了，可以去最下面的链接，一个泰国老外的博客里看图。

注：不想折腾的话可以直接省略2-4步，直接下载提取好的编程器固件刷入。

1、备份SN、MTM、MSDM等信息，下载网盘里的备份SN脚本工具，解压后以管理员身份运行 _backup.cmd ，完成备份（若出错，请自行研究lvar的详细用法…）。
2、为避免BIOS升级后EC仍为老版本，采用先用编程器刷入6KCN37WW后再通过官方安装方式更新到6KCN38WW或未来发布的更新的版本的方法。联想官网下载6KCN37WW版bios安装文件并重命名为6kcn37ww-offical.exe。
3、提取BIOS文件，下载innounp setup解包工具，下载解压后和6kcn37ww-offical.exe放到同一个目录下，cmd命令行运行 innounp.exe -x 6kcn37ww-offical.exe ，此时目录下会出现一个{app}目录，进入目录，有一个6KCN37WW.exe文件，用7zip或winrar打开它，把里面的BIOS.fd文件提取出来。
4、提取BIOS编程器固件，下载 https://github.com/LongSoft/InsydeImageExtractor，把extractor.exe和BIOS.fd放在同一个目录下，cmd命令行输入 extractor.exe BIOS.fd 6kcn37ww_programmer.bin ，此时可得到一个大小为8M(8,388,608 字节)的编程器固件6kcn37ww_programmer.bin。
5、拆机，上编程器烧录（可使用烧录座），注意BIOS芯片是1.8V低压的，而CH341和XTW100只支持3.3V和5V，所以CH341和XTW100需要使用3.3V转1.8V转接座。最好先备份一下原编程器固件以防万一……烧录进去，开机后应该就是37版本的BIOS了。
6、联想官网下载新版6KCN38WW版本BIOS并按常规方法安装更新，即可将BIOS和EC同时更新为最新版本。
7、修复SN，MTM，机器型号，MSDM等信息。以管理员身份运行SN脚本工具里的 _restore.cmd 。

UPDATE LENOVO IDEAPAD 720S-13ARR (RYZEN) BIOS TO 6KCN38WW

Note: This article applies to those whose Lenovo ideapad720s-13arr (r5-2500u and r7-2700U) has 6KCN2*WW (6KCN28WW, 6KCN29WW, 6KCN26WW) version of the BIOS which can not be upgraded to 6KCN3*WW(6KCN37WW,6KCN38WW) BIOS.
If you do not want to toss, you can directly omit 2-4 steps and directly download the extracted firmware of the programmer from the attachments.
1, Backup the SN, MTM,MSDM and other BIOS information throught the script, just unzip the backup_SN_script.zip and run _backup.cmd as Administrator.
2, To avoid EC is stiil the old version after the BIOS is upgraded, I take methods of flash 6KCN37WW with a programmer and then update to 6KCN38WW through the official installation. Download the 6KCN37WW version BIOS installation file from Lenovo's official website and rename it 6kcn37ww-offical.exe.
3, Extract the BIOS file, download the Inno Setup Unpacker from  https://sourceforge.net/projects/innounp/files/ ,unzip it and place innounp.exe in the same directory with 6kcn37ww-offical.exe. Open a command prompt, navigate to the current directory and type innounp.exe -x 6kcn37ww-offical.exe. When finished, open the {app} folder that was created in the directory. In the {app} folder, open the 6KCN37WW.exe using Winrar or 7zip to extract the BIOS.fd file.
4, extract the BIOS programmer file, download InsydeImageExtractor from https://github.com/LongSoft/InsydeImageExtractor ,place the extractor.exe and BIOS.fd in the same directory, open a command prompt, navigate to the current directory and type extractor.exe BIOS.fd 6kcn37ww_programmer.bin , you will get a BIOS programmer file named 6kcn37ww_programmer.bin of size 8MB (8,388,608 bytes).
5, Disassemble the notebook, flash the 6kcn37ww_programmer.bin through a flash programmer.I have CH341A and XTW100, they only support 3.3V and 5V.But the BIOS Chip is 1.8V. So I use a 3.3V turn 1.8V adapter.Back up the original programmer's file and flash the new one. After completion, boot your notebook and your bios version will be on 6KCN37WW.
6, Download the 6KCN38WW version of BIOS installation and update. After completion, both the BIOS and EC will be on the latest version.
7, Repair the SN, MTM, Product Name, MSDM. run _restore.cmd as Administrator.
